С 20 по 31 августа Министерство по чрезвычайным ситуациям проводит республиканскую акцию «В центре внимания - дети».

В местах продажи детской одежды и канцелярских товаров областного центра работники МЧС совместно с РГОО «БДПО», юными спасателями-пожарными раздают покупателям детские наглядные материалы с профилактической информацией, а также объясняют основные причины возникновения чрезвычайных ситуаций, гибели и травматизма людей, в том числе детей.

С начала года в республике произошло более 4500 пожаров, погибло 547 человек, из них - 13 детей. По причине детской шалости с огнём произошло 106 пожаров.
