В Гомельской ДЮСШ по боксу и стрельбе пулевой отдела ФКСиТ Гомельского горисполкома, наряду с вынесенными в название школы видами спорта, культивируется и борьба греко-римская.

И во всех видах воспитанники ДЮСШ постоянно завоёвывают награды разного уровня.

Не так давно первенство ОСК профсоюзов по боксу выиграл Константин Тужик (тренеры - Валентин Заренин и Леонид Тужик). На чемпионате страны по стрельбе пулевой Светлана Ковалёва (тренер -Игорь Жаворонков) заняла в командном первенстве второе место. А на областном первенстве по борьбе греко-римской среди юношей 1997-1998 годов рождения Максим Дегтеренко в своей весовой категории занял первое место, а Никита Печурихин и Павел Аникей стали бронзовыми призёрами. Готовил ребят тренер Владимир Семёнов.
