«Гомель» (впрочем, как и жлобинский «Металлург») одержал очередную победу в открытом чемпионате Беларуси.

Наша хоккейная дружина на своей площадке принимала новополоцкий «Химик-СКА» и уверенно переиграла соперников со счётом 10:1. Единственную шайбу гости забросили только на последней минуте встречи. А в рядах гомельской команды в этот вечер блистал Евгений Николаев, забросивший три шайбы. По два раза отличились Колосов и Качан, по одной шайбе на счету Соломонова, Усенко и Стефановича.

После завершившегося тура у лидера - «Металлурга» - 40 очков, у «Гомеля» - 39.
