Среди приглашённых 80 гостей на свадьбе австралийских супругов Гилли Ричардсон и Джона Хьюза был кенгуру, выступавший в роли свидетельницы.

Жених и невеста нашли детёныша кенгуру лежащим на дороге рядом с мёртвой матерью и подумали, что он мёртв. Однако когда подошли ближе, заметили, что кенгуру жив. Заботясь о том, чтобы животное не умерло, супруги забрали его домой. Вскоре кенгуру Зои стал их любимцем и «третьим ребёнком». Он живёт в доме, играет с двумя дочками - 5-летней Брук и 4-летней Холли. Дочери Гилли и Джона вместе с 2-летним Зои были главными гостями на свадебной церемонии.
